Christian landed his first big job acting and singing as the lead in the television series Fame L.A. The show, based on the hit movie and television series, originally cast him as a comedian. After hearing him sing, the producers rewrote the role for him to be a singer. In a role that has given him worldwide exposure, Kanestarred as Lindsey McDonald in a major recurring role on the series Angel alongside his good friend David Boreanaz. His other film and TV credits include the TNT productions of Crossfire Trail and Into the West. He also starred in The Crooked E and the Jerry Bruckheimer series Close to Home and appeared on Dawson
